What seems to be a hidden message has been found in Konami's latest Metal Gear outing, Survive, with a message that may be referring to Hideo Kojima's departure at the company.
For those that have been living under a rock, Hideo Kojima was apparently sacked from Konami before the release of Metal Gear Solid V. What really happened is open for debate, but many within the gaming community have pointed fingers solely at Konami, especially after a highly anticipated new Silent Hills sequel was cancelled. It must have been a pretty big rock if you weren't privy to any of this drama. Not even one with dial-up Internet.
The message uncovered in Survive was found by Twitter user @NourishedPsyche, in which there appears to be an anagram that spells "KJP FOREVER" - images below:
KJP is widely considered - although not confirmed - to be the internal abbreviation for Kojima Productions (before it was shut down at least). Could it be some old Kojima Productions developers paying tribute to days gone by? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
Metal Gear Survive is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Check out the launch trailer here.
